Been sick…again! This time I caught the skinnyPlague. I don’t work at skinnyCorp. Not fair. The boys had another show this weekend. It’ll be the last one for a bit because Buddha’s back on the road with Taproot. Hoping to get a lot of Proximo house cleaning stuff done like CDs and merch. Also need to get the website finished up. Saw Maritime this weekend too in DeKalb. It was awesome.
Music is back in my life in a big way and I think it has a lot to do with how happy I am lately. I was saying to Ed B. today while we ate a late brunch at our fav spot in Roger’s Park, that until now college was the best time in my life. Now, like in college, I find myself surrounded by a great number of like minded people. It leaves me content. This content is pushing all sorts of creativity out.
Lately I’ve been making earrings. Nothing huge. A few pairs. Still, I’m excited about where it is going and the style I’m developing. Also, my picture taking has taken off. That excites me. I want to get a low apature 55mm. It is in my near future. I can’t wait. Maybe I’ll go get one right now…
